TERMS & CONDITIONS
Shutter View Photography
By securing a booking with Shutter View Photography, the CLIENT (on behalf of all persons being photographed) agrees to the following Terms and Conditions.
General
Shutter View Photography is committed to providing a professional, safe, and enjoyable experience. Every care is taken to ensure the accuracy of information presented across all platforms; however, no rights may be derived from website content.
While all reasonable precautions are taken during sessions, Shutter View Photography cannot accept responsibility for any injury, loss, damage, or unforeseen incident occurring during a session, whether in-studio or on location.
All imagery created by Shutter View Photography remains the intellectual property of the business and may not be copied, reproduced, altered, or distributed without written permission.
By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions.
Copyright & Image Use
All images produced by Shutter View Photography are protected under copyright law.
Shutter View Photography may use selected images from your session for portfolio, website, studio display, social media, marketing, and promotional purposes.
If you prefer your images to remain completely private, please notify me in writing prior to your session, and I will fully respect your wishes. Your privacy and comfort are important to me.
Images may not be used for commercial or business purposes without prior written consent.
Final edited images are archived for approximately 3 months from your session date. After this period, files may be permanently removed. Clients are responsible for backing up their purchased images.
RAW files and unedited images are not supplied.
Booking & Experience
A session is confirmed once the booking form has been completed and the deposit has been received.
Following your session, you will receive a private online proof gallery to select your favourite images. Final edited images will be delivered via online gallery within approximately 3–6 weeks from the date your selections are submitted.
Travel fees apply for locations more than 15 km from South Morang.
To ensure the best possible outcome, any concerns during the session should be raised at the time so adjustments can be made where possible. Matters that could have been addressed during the session cannot be reviewed retrospectively.
To maintain a calm and focused environment, personal photography or video recording during sessions is not permitted.
Image Delivery
Your chosen package includes the agreed number of professionally edited, high-resolution digital JPEG files.
Additional images may be purchased within 3 months of your session at the current rate.
All editing decisions are made in alignment with Shutter View Photography’s artistic style and professional discretion.
Investment & Payment
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your session date.
The remaining balance is due on the day of your session unless otherwise agreed in writing prior to the booking.
Additional images or products must be paid in full prior to delivery.
Gift Vouchers & Promotions
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.
Promotional offers and discount codes cannot be combined unless otherwise stated.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
Deposits are non-refundable.
Rescheduling requests made more than 6 calendar days prior to your session will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability.
If Shutter View Photography is unable to fulfil the booking due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, an alternative date will be offered at no additional charge.
If the CLIENT cancels the session, the booking deposit will be forfeited.
Model Release
Unless a written privacy request has been submitted prior to the session, the CLIENT grants Shutter View Photography permission to use selected images for portfolio and promotional purposes.
If a written privacy agreement is confirmed before the session, your images will not be shared publicly.
Limitation of Liability
Shutter View Photography is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury except in cases of proven gross negligence.
Liability is limited to the total amount paid for the session.
Shutter View Photography is not responsible for circumstances beyond reasonable control, including weather conditions, technical malfunctions, or uncooperative behaviour of participants.
